I dunno. That's a really good question. I'm guessing that those organizations that are still throwing parties (like Helter Skelter) probably still own their own DATs, but as for the promoters that have fallen by the wayside, it's pretty difficult to say. Maybe they are just moulding away quietly in lock-ups and attics?

you know what I was wondering? you have to figure a lot of the old, great rave mixtapes were initially recorded on DAT. who do you think has these DATs? is this something that people trade / collect?

what a tearout! big up yrself for this one pearsall. always used to go to the rocket for the innovations dances. the moody atmosphere were a bit of an eye-opener, but that was jungle back then and it was raw.

keep the tape rips coming. it's made me all fervent and sermonising. hearing is believing!
